Barbie Dolls of the World: Ireland Review

Okay, so I'll make a fabulous flashback about this doll. Me and my mom went to Kmart last December 31, 2012 and I found this doll on sale. The usual price is $35, I think? And I was in total shock when I saw the sale price- $11. Isn't that awesome? Yes, yes it is! The moment I saw the price, I didn't think twice if I should get it or not so I just throw it in the cart with a big smile on my face!

I've always wanted this doll because she's special. She's not the typical blonde girl with a pink lipstick wearing a pair of pink shoes and a pink dress. She's also from Ireland (one of the countries that I adore) so I really love her. I also love her packaging, it's a luggage-like box.

At the back part of the box, you can see a little information about her country.

 Opening the box

"Dia dhuit" (pronounced as dia gwit) That's how they say "Hello" in Ireland

And she's out of the box. She's wearing a crown-or a headband? I'm not really sure what it is but it's beautiful. She's wearing an Ireland inspired dress. As you can see, it's a combination of white, gold, and mostly green. I'm not a big fan of her shoes but it's okay. She has her own pet, a brown dog.
 Welcome to America!

I mentioned earlier that she's not like those typical blonde Barbie dolls. She has a brownish hair, a beautiful red lips and golden eyes. Her beauty is simple but in a sophisticated way.

Changing the names of some of my Barbie dolls is in my "tradition" so I named her Irene. My sister came up with that name. She told me to name her Irene because she's from Ireland and that's actually not a bad idea.

Ms.Irene from Ireland
               Includes:
 Green Brush

 Certification of Authenticity
The only thing that bothers me is her stand. It doesn't hold her waste- actually  it hold her crotch and thighs! That's kinda weird for me but it's not a big deal.

 Doll Stand

 Stickers

Passport

I really love her box too! It's beautiful and reusable, you can put some random stuff inside.

Well, that's it. You might see Irene in some episodes of Toy Town. Thanks for stopping by!
